Quotas and limits

Asgard uses quotas and limits to keep service quality up and to smooth out unusual spikes in resource use and availability. A quota caps how much of a given Asgard resource your workspace can use, which keeps the service from being overloaded.

Service quality quotas

  • Per endpoint: 5 RPS (requests per second)

  • Request execution time: 3 minutes per request

  • Request execution steps: 30 steps per request

When you try to consume more than a quota allows, Asgard raises a warning such as "Max execution steps 30 reached" and blocks access to the resource, and the job being run stops and fails.

Service usage limits

  • Projects: 40

  • Knowledge Base storage: 300 GB

  • Processors: 500

  • Loaders: 10

  • Indexers: 150

Quotas and limits apply at the Asgard workspace level, and the projects in a workspace share the same pool of service resources.

Raising a quota or limit

To raise the quotas and limits on an Asgard workspace, contact sales or write to service@asgard-ai.com and we will help.
