Catching up on everything since November 2025: Routines in Sindri, dashboards and knowledge settings in Mimir, group permissions in the Console, and light mode across the platform.

2026/09/24 - Routines, dashboards and group permissions

Announcement

The last release note stopped at November 2025. The product kept shipping, these notes did not keep up, so this entry covers ten months at once, product by product.

Since the dates of the individual releases were never recorded, this entry does not invent them. It lists what is on the platform today.

Sindri (Agent Hub)

Routines is the largest piece of this period. Work you have done once can be saved as a routine and run automatically on a schedule:

  • The sidebar has its own Routines section, and the list page shows the status of each routine
  • A routine's detail page lists its past runs, and you can open any run and carry on the conversation from there
  • Run now triggers a routine by hand, without waiting for the schedule
  • A failed run leaves a record you can work back through, and a routine that needs a person to answer sends a notification
  • Creating, editing, disabling and deleting all happen on the same page

Also new:

  • An answer can be given a thumbs up or down, and the rating is still there when you come back to the conversation
  • The Directory is split into a conversations tab and a files tab, and the files are shared across the project
  • An Effort selector for reasoning depth, adjustable per turn
  • Appearance theme switching

Mimir (Data Insight)

  • Dashboards: creating one, arranging the layout, adding views to it, and managing it afterwards
  • A list page and a detail page for views, with query results in their own result panel
  • Two new management pages under Knowledge, Instructions and Question-SQL pairs, for teaching Mimir how your organisation writes SQL and which definitions its answers have to follow
  • The semantic layer can be switched
  • Starting a conversation is now a single input box, and the conversation is only created once you send the first message

Odin (Studio)

  • Agent Hub has a global working directory, and every conversation can read the files placed in it
  • Semantic Model gained an Effort field, the way Knowledge Base, MCP Servers and Plugins are configured has changed, and they can be disabled instead of deleted
  • Workflow processor fields can now be switched between Literal, Expression and Template, apart from Name and Description
  • A Drive sidebar was added to the left of the Drive detail page for switching between drives, and Syncer supports five sources: Google Drive, OneDrive, Git, Web Crawler and Data Source
  • The Tool page is now called API
  • The Managed Agent view, edit and preview pages were rebuilt
  • The API key for a Flow Agent integration is issued by the platform, and is no longer something you supply

Management Console

  • Workspace Accounts manages the members and owners of the whole workspace, and shows which permissions a given member actually holds
  • Group Management is new, binding a group to a product with a role and a scope, and unbinding it in the same place
  • The product entries in the sidebar now use the brand names: Odin, Mimir, Sindri, Heimdall, Fehu

Across the platform

Light mode is available. Open Preference from the account menu and choose to follow the device, or light, or dark.

SDK

@asgard-js/core and @asgard-js/react went from 0.2.43 to 0.3.86.

The largest single addition is Sandbox Browser. The browser running inside the sandbox can be embedded in your own interface and operated there, without opening a separate tab. createSandboxBrowserSession gets the streaming credentials, and on the React side SandboxBrowserPanel renders it. The original generateSandboxBrowserOpenUrl is still there if you prefer a one-time URL in a new tab.

For the full list of exports see the JavaScript SDK and React SDK pages.

Changed

These changed existing behaviour, so the old way of doing things will not match what you see:

  • Description is no longer required. The creation forms for Flow Agent, API, Trigger and both kinds of MCP Server have dropped the red asterisk and submit empty. Managed Agent is the exception: its Description is read by the LLM and is still required.
  • Trigger Cron syntax is more permissive. Besides the standard five fields it now accepts descriptors such as @daily, along with lists (0 8,13 * * *), ranges, ranges with a step, and month and weekday names.
  • Channel Max Idle Days is now optional, and leaving it empty means no limit.
  • Mimir no longer clears idle conversation records automatically, and the note about clearing after two weeks has been removed from the interface.
  • The message shown when billing blocks a request now depends on the reason. An exhausted group quota (4018) currently shows no message.
